A creative marketplace held by Agriculture and Food Agency and Taiwan Bamboo Society.
What happens in “Market of Bamboos and Tea”?
Some organic agricultural products were sold in this market. It cooperated with nine designing brands of bamboo. Also, ArtiCollect was invited to attend! Furthermore, Kan-Ming, Yuan, who is a famous Taiwanese architect, designed the cabin and the display crack with bamboos.
We tried to use the skin and the joint of bamboos as a highlight. First, we want to show the spirit of craftsmen. Second, we’d like to arouse people’s interest and curiosity. At last, we hope to convey our idea of the essence and the aspiration.
While visiting the marketplace, you could see many kinds of bamboo commodities made by weaving and dyeing. They showed the cultural significance and the characteristic of materials.
This marketplace was not only an activity for people to experience the art of bamboos but also a chance for those who worked hard on the declining bamboo industry to emerge as Taiwanese pride.
